End of Pre-Monsoon Month in Bihar
The first month of pre-monsoon season has come to an end in Bihar. April is beginning, bringing along with it the heat of summers. Residents of Bihar will soon be facing rising temperatures and heat waves. According to meteorologist SK Patel from the Patna Weather Center, the daytime temperature in March ranged from 33°C to 37°C, but it is expected to reach around 45°C in the early days of April.
Rising Temperatures Expected
During the next 4 days, a 2-3°C increase in the maximum temperature of the state is predicted. The month of March ended with daytime temperatures reaching up to 42°C. There is a possibility of two western disturbances in the early weeks. The impact of this on Bihar will become clear in the coming days. The wind direction is expected to change to north-west this week, keeping the skies clear and the sun shining brightly.
Current Weather Conditions
As a result, there will be a slight chill in the morning, but the days will be scorching hot. The dry north-western winds will keep the skies clear and the intense sun shining. During this period, temperatures are also likely to hover around 45°C. Despite some partial clouds and light drizzles in parts of Bihar at the end of March, the maximum temperature in the state has crossed 40°C. The highest maximum temperature recorded was 41.9°C in Vaishali, while the lowest minimum temperature was 19°C in Forbesganj and the highest minimum temperature was 25.1°C in Supaul.
