Weather in Bihar
The weather in Bihar is currently in a two-in-one mood, with some districts on alert for rain and others facing the possibility of heatwaves. Southern Bihar districts are experiencing rainy conditions, while northern Bihar districts are dry according to meteorologist Kumar Gaurav. Light rain is expected in four districts on April 12 and eight districts on April 14. However, Bihar Weather Service Center warns that 13 and 14 April may bring heatwave conditions to 13 districts.
Rainy Situation
Some districts in Bihar experienced windy and stormy conditions late into the night of April 11. The Meteorological Center predicts that Bhagalpur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, and Gaya may continue to experience rainy conditions today, while other districts will remain dry. The next five days may see a 2°C to 4°C increase in daytime temperatures. No rain is expected on April 13, but light rain may occur in some areas on April 14.
Temperature Update
Most districts in Bihar saw a slight decrease in temperatures on April 11, with Siwan recording a slight increase. Jehanabad recorded the highest maximum temperature at 41°C. Bhojpur also recorded a maximum temperature of 40.3°C, while other districts remained below 40°C. Patna recorded the highest minimum temperature at 25.1°C, making it the warmest city in Bihar at night for the past two days. The maximum temperature in Bihar today is expected to be between 38°C to 40°C, with a minimum temperature between 22°C to 24°C.
