Railway Cancels and Shortens Trains

Mega Block on Asansol-Jasidih Section
On April 14, maintenance work will be carried out on a bridge between Asansol and Jhajha on the Howrah-New Delhi main rail line. A mega block has been imposed on this route on April 14 for maintenance work between Mathurapur and Navapatra stations in the Asansol-Jasidih section. This mega block will last for 10 hours, with train operations on this route completely suspended from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Changes in Train Routes
Several trains, including the Raxaul-Howrah Express, New Delhi-Howrah Purva Express, and Nangal Dam-Kolkata Gurumukhi Express, will be diverted through alternate routes. Additionally, the Gorakhpur-Asansol Express and Tata Nagar-Buxar-Tata Nagar Express will be terminated at Asansol, while the Basco-Digha-Jasidih Weekly Express will conclude its journey at Madhepura on April 14.
