**Student’s Death**
**Details**
Under the jurisdiction of the town police station area in the city, a student’s death occurred in suspicious circumstances on Sunday night on Chitra Toli Road. The family suspects that he was killed by the same people who were involved in a property dispute. The deceased student, Gaurav Kumar alias Krish, was the 20-year-old son of Manoranjan Prasad, a resident of Chitra Toli Road in the town police station area. He was a student of Intermediate and was studying engineering in Chennai. According to the deceased student’s brother Vishal Kumar, there had been a dispute with the people involved in the property over the past few days, and there were threats to kill his brother over the property.
**Incident**
On Sunday evening, when his father went out to get milk, he was also outside, and there was only one sister at home. The door of his room was open. When his father returned home with the milk, he saw that he was lying on the bed in a dead condition. After this, the family informed the local police station. After receiving the information, Assistant Police Superintendent Parichay Kumar and Town Police Station Chief Devaraj Rai arrived at the scene with the police force and met with the deceased student’s family to gather information about the incident.
**Investigation**
The police then took the body into their custody and conducted a post-mortem at the local hospital. The deceased student’s brother Vishal Kumar suspects that his brother was killed by their property dispute. According to the information received, the deceased student’s mother Chanda Devi died in 2021 due to kidney failure, after which he had been feeling a bit depressed. As a result, his health deteriorated, and he had been staying at home for five months. This is why there are also talks of him committing suicide. The police are investigating the case at their level.
