Gold Prices Drop in Patna

In recent days, the price of gold and silver had reached its peak but now there is a decrease in prices. The Vice President of the Patliputra Sarrafa Association, Ajay Kumar, mentioned to Local 18 that buyers have received some relief from the increased rates starting yesterday. Analysts believe that there may be a rapid increase in gold and silver prices in the Sarrafa market soon.

Current Rates for Gold and Silver

As of Friday, May 3rd, the price of 22-carat gold is Rs. 66,350 per 10 grams in the Sarrafa market in Patna. Meanwhile, the price of 24-carat gold is Rs. 73,900 per 10 grams. Earlier, the price of 24-carat gold was Rs. 75,200 per 10 grams. The price of 18-carat gold remains steady at Rs. 56,000 per 10 grams.

Silver Prices Remain Stable

On the other hand, there has been no change in the price of silver, with it still selling at Rs. 79,000 per kilogram. Previously, the price of silver was Rs. 81,000 per kilogram. For those looking to sell or exchange gold today in Patna, the exchange rate for 22-carat gold is Rs. 64,850 per 10 grams, and for 18-carat gold is Rs. 54,500 per 10 grams. The selling rate for silver remains at Rs. 76,000 per kilogram.
