Theft of Property Worth Five Lakh Rupees in Latehar
Behind the block office in Latehar city, thieves broke into the locked house of Dilip Chandrawanshi, a resident of Kinamard. They broke the lock on Sunday night and stole property worth around five lakh rupees. Dilip, who was on vacation with his family in their village, said that the lock of the house was closed when they left. Taking advantage of the deserted house, the thieves broke the lock and entered, stealing jewelry and cash.
Discovery of the Theft
When the family returned home in the morning, they found the broken lock and missing items. The thieves had broken two Godrej lockers and took away all the valuables, leaving behind scattered clothes and other items. The incident was reported to the police, who are currently investigating the matter.
Police Investigation
Police Inspector Pramod Kumar Sinha stated that they have received information about the incident and are conducting an investigation. The police are confident that the culprits will soon be caught and brought to justice for their crime. The stolen items include gold chains, earrings, mangalsutra, lockets, anklets, and fifty thousand rupees in cash.
