Woman arrested with 56 bottles of alcohol

In Motihari, a woman was arrested with 56 bottles of alcohol that she was bringing from Nepal. The excise department received a tip-off about the woman bringing a large consignment of alcohol from Nepal to India. Acting on this information, Excise Inspector Laloo Kumar conducted a search at the Bata Chowk and intercepted a woman carrying bags from Nepal.

During the search, two bags containing 56 bottles of Nepali Kasturi alcohol were confiscated. The woman who was arrested has been identified as Darji Patti Sugauli’s Tahira Husain.
