Discovery of a body in Giridih

A partially burnt body of a young man was found in the Gurha forest in the Khudisar Panchayat area of the Dumri police station in Giridih district, 54 minutes earlier. Upon receiving information, the police reached the spot and took custody of the body for post-mortem in Giridih.

Details of the Incident

The body, emitting a foul odor, was estimated to be around 30 years old. It was discovered by a group of women who had gone towards Gurha forest on Saturday morning. The body had blood oozing from the nose and mouth, and the clothes were completely burnt.

Suspicion of Foul Play

There is a suspicion that the people involved in the incident may have killed the young man at a different location and brought the body to the forest to burn it in an attempt to erase the victim’s identity. The police recovered a matchbox and an empty bottle near the body, indicating that petrol might have been used to set the body on fire.

Identification Efforts

The police tried to identify the body by involving the villagers, but they were unsuccessful. The Dumri police are currently investigating the case to uncover the truth behind this tragic incident.
