Relief from Heat and Rain for Bihar Residents

For the past week, residents of Bihar have been experiencing relief from the scorching heat and rain. However, the current phase of rain is expected to come to a halt as temperatures are set to rise once again. The weather scientist at the Patna Meteorological Center, Kamal Singh Gupta, has predicted a three to four degree increase in daytime temperatures in the coming days.

Yellow Alert in Several Districts

On Saturday, moderate to heavy rainfall was recorded in several districts of Bihar in the afternoon. A yellow alert has been issued for 8 districts, including West Champaran, East Champaran, Sitamarhi, Sheohar, Madhubani, Supaul, Araria, and Kishanganj, with the possibility of thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds. The maximum temperature in these districts is expected to range between 34°C to 38°C.

Sudden Change in Weather Patterns

On Saturday afternoon, sudden changes in weather patterns were observed in several districts of Bihar. Light to heavy rainfall was reported in Jamui, Rohtas, and Kishanganj, while cloudy skies persisted in areas like Banka and Patna. Additionally, there were reports of power outages in Gaya district, resulting in the unfortunate death of an individual. The increase in temperatures and unpredictable weather patterns continue to pose challenges for Bihar residents.
