Jharkhand Weather Update
In several districts, including the capital Ranchi, Jharkhand experienced light to moderate rainfall on Saturday, providing relief from the intense heat. Unfortunately, there were casualties due to lightning strikes in Hazaribagh and Chatra districts, resulting in the death of four individuals. The victims included Tipu Bhuiyan from Badkagaon, Lalita Devi, Khewani Rana, Kaila Ram, and Bajrangi Mahato. Anil Ram from Pachara, Keradari, was also injured in the incident.
Forecast for the Coming Days
The Meteorological Department predicts the possibility of clouds and rain in Jharkhand until May 15th. A yellow alert has been issued for strong winds and thunderstorms in several districts, including Ranchi, on Sunday. Moist winds from Uttar Pradesh are causing rain in Jharkhand.
Temperature Drop
Most districts are experiencing below-average temperatures due to clouds and rain. On Saturday, Ranchi recorded a maximum temperature of 34.8 degrees and a minimum of 23.1 degrees. Medininagar recorded the highest temperature in the state at 40.6 degrees, followed by Saraikela at 40.0 degrees.
Continued Weather Changes
According to meteorologist Abhishek Anand, weather fluctuations will continue until May 15th. Over the next 24 hours, Garhwa, Palamu, and Chatra may experience rain accompanied by strong winds and potential lightning strikes. It is important to note that recent bad weather has already resulted in casualties in Jharkhand, and the situation may change after May 15th, potentially bringing an end to the rainy spell.
