**Police Arrests Accused Member of Drug Peddling Gang in Bihar**
In Muzaffarpur, Bihar, the police have arrested an active member of a drug peddling gang who was attempting to flee with the belongings worth lakhs of a passenger on a bus. With the vigilance and quick thinking of the police and bus conductor, the accused member of the drug peddling gang was apprehended. The accused had made a young man returning from Dubai his target and was planning to escape with all his belongings. However, due to the alertness of the bus driver, conductor, and Ahilyapur police, the accused was caught.
**Youth Drugged and Robbed on Bus Journey**
According to reports, a youth returning from Dubai after almost two years was drugged by a member of the drug peddling gang on the bus journey. After making the youth unconscious with a cold drink, the criminal planned to flee with the youth’s valuable mobile phone, cash, and other belongings. However, the suspicion was raised by the bus conductor, who then informed the Ahilyapur police. The accused was caught red-handed and taken into custody.
**Criminal Caught Trying to Flee with Victim’s Belongings**
In a bus traveling from Patna to Darbhanga, a resident of Darbhanga district, Chandan Kumar (24), was approached by a stranger who pretended to be from the same district. The criminal gained Chandan’s trust and drugged him with a cold drink during the journey. As a result, Chandan became unconscious and was robbed. The criminal was caught by the police while trying to flee with all of Chandan’s belongings.
**Police Action and Appeal to the Public**
In the entire incident, the SHO of Ahilyapur police station, Rohan Kumar, mentioned that a youth returning from Dubai was found unconscious on a bus journey from Patna to Darbhanga. The accused, a resident of Sahata village in Vaishali district, has been involved in drug peddling cases before and was caught trying to escape. The victim, Chandan Yadav, has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The accused is facing legal action, and the police appeal to the public to avoid befriending strangers and remain vigilant.
