Discovery of Newlywed Couple’s Bodies in Separate Rooms
In Purnia, the bodies of a newlywed couple were found in separate rooms. The police believe that both of them committed suicide by hanging due to a domestic dispute. After receiving information about the incident, the police arrived at the scene and sent both bodies for postmortem. The investigation of the case has been handed over to the FSL team, who arrived on Monday morning.
Lack of Clear Reason for the Tragedy
Local residents have stated that Rishu Mandal and Ranjana Devi got married in a love marriage just 6 months ago. Ranjana Devi was a resident of Baghwa village. The couple got married without their families’ consent 6 months ago. They were happily living together in their home since their marriage. It was reported that during the incident, Rishu Mandal’s father and other family members had gone to the fields to husk corn. When they returned home, they found both rooms locked from the inside.
Police Engage in Investigation
Local residents informed the police of the incident, leading to the police arriving at the scene and sending the bodies for postmortem. The locals are shocked by the tragedy and are wondering what led the couple to take such a drastic step.
