Major Changes in School Timings in Bihar
The Bihar Education Department has once again made a significant change in the timetable. Starting from May 16, all primary, middle, and high schools in Bihar, including Sitamarhi, will run from 6:00 in the morning till 1:30 in the afternoon. This information was released by the Director of Secondary Education Department. Previously, due to summer vacation, schools were only open from 8:00 to 10:00 in the morning until April 15. However, from May 16, all schools will operate on the new schedule.
New Schedule and Mission Daksh Classes
According to the letter issued by the Director of Secondary Education Department, schools will now run from 6:00 in the morning till 12:00, with a lunch break from 10:00 to 10:30. After that, Mission Daksh classes will be conducted for weaker students from 12:00 to 1:30. These special classes will focus on various activities like home assignments, utility checks, weekly assessments, monthly assessments, and lesson planning. Additionally, they will also handle tasks like enrollment of extra students and other administrative work.
Ensuring Children’s Health and Attendance
This new schedule will be effective from May 16, 2024, to June 30, 2024. The letter instructs all district education officers to ensure 90% attendance of children in all schools during this period. The order requires all principals to inform their district’s chief education officer about this directive. It also emphasizes the importance of ensuring that children’s health is not adversely affected by the hot weather conditions after the specified period, prompting the decision to operate all schools in the morning shift from May 16, 2024.
सीतामढ़ी: बिहार शिक्षा विभाग ने समय सारणी में बड़ा बदलाव किया है, जिसके अनुसार सभी स्कूल सुबह 6:00 से दोपहर 1:30 तक चलेंगे। नए समय के साथ छात्रों के लिए मिशन दक्ष क्लास भी चलाया जाएगा। इस नई व्यवस्था का प्रभाव 30 जून 2024 तक रहेगा। शिक्षा विभाग ने सभी जिला शिक्षा पदाधिकारियों को बच्चों की 90% उपस्थिति सुनिश्चित करने का आदेश दिया है।
