Vande Bharat Train to Run on 19 Busy Routes in South Eastern Railway Zone
The South Eastern Railway Zone is planning to run Vande Bharat Metro trains on 19 busy routes. Surveys have been conducted to operate Vande Bharat Metro trains at stations in Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, and Odisha. The plan is to run Vande Bharat Metro trains on the Tata Nagar to Gaya, Howrah, and Dhanbad routes to provide modern facilities to as many passengers as possible.
Plan to Operate Vande Bharat on New Routes
Currently, Vande Bharat trains run from Ranchi to Tata Nagar and then to Howrah. Most seats are booked from Tata Nagar. The new plan aims to run Vande Bharat Metro trains from Ranchi, Bokaro, Rourkela, Tatanagar, Asansol, and Kharagpur to Digha, Balasore, and other routes.
Promotion of Tourism with Vande Bharat Trains
According to the railway authorities, there are plans to operate Vande Bharat Metro trains on new routes based on passenger demand, where trials will be conducted soon. Running Vande Bharat Metro trains on these routes in Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Odisha will boost tourism in the region. The railways are also monitoring ticket bookings and passenger numbers on trains running on these routes.
Increased Number of Vande Bharat Trains in Recent Years
In recent years, the number of Vande Bharat trains has increased significantly, providing a special and convenient travel experience for passengers. The Railway Minister recently stated that there are more than 82 Vande Bharat trains running in the country, with this figure given in February. The number of Vande Bharat trains is continuously increasing, although there have been reports of stone-pelting incidents on these trains.
दक्षिण पूर्व रेलवे जोन भीड़ वाले 19 रूटों पर वंदे भारत मेट्रो ट्रेन जल्द चलाएगा। रेलवे ने झारखंड, बिहार, बंगाल और ओडिशा के स्टेशनों पर वंदे भारत मेट्रो ट्रेन चलाने का सर्वे कराया है। इससे टाटानगर से गया, हावड़ा व धनबाद मार्ग पर वंदे भारत मेट्रो ट्रेन चलाने की योजना है। इन मार्गों पर वंदे भारत चलाने की योजना के साथ-साथ पर्यटन को भी बढ़ावा मिलेगा। रेल मंत्री ने बताया कि देश में 82 से ज्यादा वंदे भारत ट्रेनें चल रही हैं और इन ट्रेनों की संख्या लगातार बढ़ रही है। इसके साथ ही, टाटानगर से ट्रेन द्वारा दूसरे जिला व राज्य में शराब पहुंचाने का मामला सामने आया है। रेल पुलिस ने एर्नाकुलम एक्सप्रेस से हजारों रुपये की 40 बोतल अंग्रेजी शराब बरामद किया है। जांच के बाद शराब को जिला उत्पाद विभाग को सौंप दिया गया।
