**Arrested Two Accused**
In recent days, a rigorous checking campaign is being conducted by the RPF and Government Railway Police at incoming trains and junctions. During this campaign led by RPF Post Incharge Ajay Prakash and Railway Police Inspector Sushil Kumar, two bootleggers were arrested with a large quantity of liquor.
**Operation Details**
Railway Police Inspector Sushil Kumar and RPF Inspector Ajay Prakash revealed that they received a tip-off that bootleggers were carrying liquor on the 12381 Up Howrah-New Delhi Poorva Express. When the train reached Gaya Junction, a raid was conducted where 72 cans of beer (750 ml) were seized. The bootleggers, both brothers, were identified as Rahul Varnawal and Mukesh Varnawal, sons of late Surendra Varnawal. They are residents of Haripur, West Bengal.
**Legal Action**
Both brothers were charged under the Excise Act and presented in court, where they were remanded to jail as part of the judicial process. The operation was successful in apprehending the bootleggers and seizing the illegal liquor, contributing to the ongoing efforts to curb illegal activities in the railway sector.
