Body Found in Drain in Patna
A school student who had been missing since yesterday was found dead in a drain in the Deedha area of Patna. The body of the student was found in the school dress, causing a commotion in the area. A large crowd gathered at the scene, with the police also arriving to control the situation. The heavy commotion caused traffic jams as people raised slogans. The child, aged four, had been missing since yesterday and search operations were ongoing.
Notice issued to University VCs for not attending Education Department meeting
The Vice-Chancellors of Munger and Purnia Universities have been issued show-cause notices for not attending a meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary of the Education Department, KK Pathak. New Rules for Sand Mafia in Bihar
Bihar is preparing to crack down on the sand mafia once again by introducing new rules. According to information, vehicles carrying sand will now have special identification through red marks. Starting from July 1, new rules will be enforced, requiring a specific identification on sand-loaded vehicles and a 20-inch wide strip painted with GPS on the vehicles. Registration number and vehicle number must also be marked.
