**Discussion on Tea**

**Overview**

Amar Ujala’s election chariot ‘Satta Ka Sangram’ has set out to understand the political mood of voters in the Lok Sabha elections. Under its pre-determined program, it has reached the Ara Lok Sabha constituency to interact with people. This time, the seat is also a topic of discussion. RK Singh, who has been an MP and Union Minister twice, is contesting on the BJP ticket. He defeated RJD candidate Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha in 2014 and Bahujan Samaj Party’s Raju Yadav in 2019. This time, the Independent Alliance has once again expressed confidence in Bahujan Samaj Party’s Raju Yadav for the Ara Lok Sabha seat. Yadav has named Sudama Prasad as the candidate. A direct competition is being considered between these two candidates.

**Voters’ Sentiments**

During discussions near the railway station in Jehanabad Lok Sabha constituency, voters were asked about their thoughts. With a sip of tea, voters in the Ara Lok Sabha constituency discussed various issues such as health, education, cleanliness at the railway station, traffic congestion, and employment.

**Need for Government Attention**

Voters said that Ara has seen significant development in the past 10 years with the development of roads and railways. However, some voters mentioned that despite the demands of the people of Ara being met, the development is not visible. There is a lot of dirt at the Ara railway station, and the condition of the Sadar Hospital is quite pitiful. The demand to make Shahabad a district headquarters has been going on for several years. The condition of farmers is poor, and there is a need for the government to focus on irrigation canals and agriculture.
