From Education to Entrepreneurship
Shalini Singh, a well-educated young woman from Hajipur, has made a name for herself in the ice cream industry by following the mantra of living for others. After completing her early education in Hajipur and pursuing higher education in Muzaffarpur, Shalini is now the proud owner of an ice cream factory where over 70 people work. She produces around 4,000 liters of ice cream per season and supplies 35 different varieties to all districts in Bihar.
Family Background and Business Ventures
Shalini’s father, Ashwini Kumar, is also a businessman who started with a small spare parts shop and now owns two workshops and large spare parts stores. Shalini, after completing her M.Com in 2019, decided to fulfill her dream of starting her own business. In 2023, she opened an ice cream factory in Hajipur, which has not only brought in good profits but has also provided employment to many individuals, bringing a sense of fulfillment to Shalini.
Research and Support System
Prior to opening the factory, Shalini conducted extensive research on social media and various platforms to plan the establishment of the ice cream factory. While her father provides financial support, her brother also assists in running the company. With this support system, Shalini has achieved self-sufficiency and is proud of the success and impact her business has had on the community.
हाजीपुर की एक पढ़ी लिखी युवती शालिनी सिंह ने अपने लिए जिये तो क्या जिये औरों के लिए जीना ही असल जिंदगी है इस मंत्र को अपनाकर आइसक्रीम उद्योग का जाना पहचाना नाम बनाया है। उनकी आइसक्रीम फैक्ट्री बिहार के सभी जिलों में 35 प्रकार के आइसक्रीम की सप्लाई करती है और उनके इस कारोबार से न केवल अच्छी कमाई हो रही है बल्कि दर्जनों लोगों को रोजगार भी मिल रहा है। शालिनी ने बताया कि इस कंपनी को चलाने में पिता और भाई की मदद मिलती है, जिससे वह आज आत्मनिर्भर बनकर सफल हैं।
