Araria SP takes action in suicide case
The SP of Araria, Amit Ranjan, has taken significant action in the case of suicide by hanging the brother-in-law and sister-in-law in the lockup of the Tarabadi police station. Due to negligence at the station, the SHO Ravi Kumar, ODI officer, and both constables have been immediately suspended. Additionally, 19 accused have been arrested in the case of stone pelting and arson at the station. Identification of other suspects involved in the incident is being done based on CCTV footage.
Violent protests at the police station
Angry residents had pelted stones and fired rounds of bullets with illegal weapons at the police station after the incident. A makeshift hut in the vicinity of the station was also set on fire, damaging 3 to 4 government vehicles. During the attempt to control the situation, 3 to 4 police officers were injured.
Incident leads to FIR against police
Following the attack on the police and damage to government property, a case was registered at the Tarabadi police station. Currently, the situation is under control and a flag march was conducted in the area under the supervision of the SDPO and SP Amit Ranjan on Saturday evening.
अररिया के ताराबाड़ी थाना में जीजा और साली की आत्महत्या के मामले में अररिया एसपी अमित रंजन ने बड़ी कार्रवाई की है। थाना में लापरवाही बरतने पर थानाध्यक्ष रवि कुमार, ओडी पदाधिकारी और पहरेदारी पर कार्रवाई की गई है। इसके साथ ही, 19 आरोपियों को पथराव और आगजनी के मामले में गिरफ्तार किया गया है। अन्य अभियुक्तों की पहचान सीसीटीवी फुटेज के आधार पर हो रही है और उनकी गिरफ्तारी के लिए कार्रवाई की जा रही है। थाना परिसर में हुई आगजनी और फायरिंग के बाद पुलिस कर्मियों को घायल किया गया था। ताराबाड़ी थाना में कांड के बाद फ्लैग मार्च भी किया गया और वहाँ कार्रवाई की गई।
