Women Booths Set Up in Every Ward for Voting
Voting is underway in Muzaffarpur, with 18 lakh 58 thousand voters exercising their rights today. Three model booths have been set up in Muzaffarpur, along with a women’s booth in each ward. Muzaffarpur consists of 15 Lok Sabha constituencies under which there are a total of 6 assembly constituencies where people are turning up to vote today.
Chirag Paswan Appeals for Inclusive Development Through Voting
Chirag Paswan, the leader of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) and Lok Sabha candidate from Hajipur, has appealed to people to vote. He emphasized the importance of voting for inclusive development, stating that voting is a strong link to democracy. He encouraged all voters in the Hajipur parliamentary constituency to cast their votes and make an informed decision for a stronger and developed India.
Voting Begins in Five Lok Sabha Seats
The fifth phase of voting is set to begin shortly in Hajipur, Saran, Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, and Madhubani Lok Sabha constituencies. A total of 95 lakh 11 thousand 186 voters will be participating in this election. There are 9433 booths set up for voting in all five Lok Sabha constituencies, with 1214 booths in urban areas and 8219 in rural areas. There are 80 candidates, including five women, contesting in this phase, with tough competition in various constituencies.
