In the five Lok Sabha seats of Bihar ★Hajipur, Saran, Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur, and Madhubani, voting is underway with long queues seen at the polling booths. This time, in the Saran parliamentary seat, BJP’s Rajiv Pratap Rudy is contesting against RJD candidate Rohini Acharya, daughter of Lalu Prasad Yadav. In Hajipur, Ram Vilas Paswan’s son Chirag Paswan is up against RJD’s Shivchandra Ram, while in Muzaffarpur, Congress’s Ajay Nishad is facing off against Ram Bhushan Nishad, and in Sitamarhi, NDA’s Devesh Chandra Thakur is competing against RJD’s Arjun Rai, and in Madhubani, BJP’s Ashok Yadav is facing RJD’s Ali Ashraf Fatmi.
Security Challenges and Voter Enthusiasm
In this phase, the Diara region and the Nepal border pose a major challenge for the Border Police. Additional security forces have been deployed by increasing the number of checkpoints on the international border. In Hajipur, the battle between Chirag and Shivchandra is heating up. In Muzaffarpur, BJP has fielded Ram Bhushan Nishad against current MP Ajay Nishad, who is now contesting on a Congress ticket. In Madhubani, BJP’s Ashok Yadav is up against RJD’s Ali Ashraf Fatmi. These constituencies are witnessing intense political competition as the Lok Sabha elections progress.
पटना में बिहार की पांच लोकसभा सीटों पर मतदान जारी है, जिसमें हाजीपुर, सारण, सीतामढ़ी, मुजफ्फरपुर और मधुबनी शामिल हैं. इस बार सारण संसदीय सीट पर बीजेपी के राजीव प्रताप रूडी का मुकाबला आरजेडी प्रत्याशी और लालू प्रसाद यादव की बेटी रोहिणी आचार्य से हो रहा है. हाजीपुर में रामविलास पासवान के बेटे चिराग पासवान की टक्कर आरजेडी के शिवचंद्र राम से है. मुजफ्फरपुर में बीजेपी ने अजय निषाद को हराने के लिए रामभूषण निषाद को उतारा है. सीतामढ़ी सीट पर भी राष्ट्रीय लोकतांत्रिक गठबंधन-एनडीए और इंडिया गठबंधन के बीच मुकाबला है. मधुबनी में भी बीजेपी ने मोहम्मद फातमी के खिलाफ अशोक यादव को उतारा है। वोटिंग के दौरान मौसम के मिजाज बदलने के बावजूद भी वोटरों में उत्साह दिख रहा है। चुनावी मैदान में भारी भीड़ उमड़ पड़ी है।
