Heat wave alert issued in multiple districts of Jharkhand
The weather department in Jharkhand has issued a heat wave alert on Monday for the districts of Garhwa, Palamu, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Giridih, Devghar, Jamtara, Dumka, Godda, Pakur, and Sahibganj. Meanwhile, there are chances of rain with thunderstorms in the eastern, southern, and adjoining central parts of the state, along with the possibility of rain on May 21.

On May 21, an alert for strong winds and thunderstorms along with rain has been issued for most parts of the state. The weather department has forecasted the possibility of rain in several parts of the state till May 24. Hazaribagh and Koderma will remain cloudy with chances of rain.
Yellow alert issued for various regions in Jharkhand
The weather department has issued a yellow alert for all regions except Garhwa, Palamu, Chatra, and Latehar. The maximum temperature in the state during this time is expected to be around 38 degrees Celsius, with a minimum temperature of 26 degrees Celsius.
Recent weather conditions in Jharkhand
In the past 24 hours, there have been reports of thunderstorms and light to moderate rainfall in many parts of Jharkhand. The highest recorded rainfall was 22.8 mm in East Singhbhum, while the highest temperature was 42.1 degrees Celsius in Devghar and the lowest was 25.2 degrees Celsius in Chaibasa.
झारखंड में मौसम विभाग ने सोमवार को गढ़वा, पलामू, बोकारो, धनबाद, गिरिडीह, देवघर, जामताड़ा, दुमका, गोड्डा, पाकुड़ और साहिबगंज जिलों में हीट वेव अलर्ट जारी किया है। राज्य के कई हिस्सों में बारिश की संभावना है और मौसम विभाग ने 24 मई तक इसकी संभावना जताई है। आज और कल के लिए भी अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। राज्य में अधिकतम तापमान 38 डिग्री सेल्सियस और न्यूनतम तापमान 26 डिग्री सेल्सियस के आसपास रहने की संभावना है।
