Tragic Incident in Saharsa

An unidentified group of criminals entered the home of 18-year-old Abhishek Verma in Dumra village, Ward No. 6 of Navhatta Thana area in Saharsa district late on Sunday night and shot him dead. Abhishek, the youngest of three brothers, was a student who also enjoyed driving his own car. He was scheduled to take a railway exam on May 27. The incident took place when he was returning home after driving his car, and the criminals shot him, resulting in his death on the spot.

Brother’s Eyewitness Account

Abhishek’s brother Amit Kumar Verma recounted the tragic incident, stating that Abhishek was returning home in his car when the criminals surrounded him and opened fire. One of the bullets hit Abhishek’s chest, leading to his immediate death. The criminals then fled the scene, leaving the family in shock and grief. The body was taken to the hospital for post-mortem and later handed over to the relatives.

Police Investigation

SP Alok Kumar confirmed the murder by shooting, stating that the criminals had killed a young man. It is believed that there was a dispute between the deceased and his elder brother prior to the incident. The police are currently investigating the case to determine the motive behind the murder and bring the culprits to justice.

सहरसा में रविवार रात डेढ़ बजे अज्ञात अपराधियों ने घर में घुसकर 18 वर्षीय युवक अभिषेक वर्मा की गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी। मृतक की पहचान नरेश कुमार वर्मा के पुत्र अभिषेक वर्मा के रूप में हुई है। मृतक की पढ़ाई के साथ-साथ अपना गाड़ी चलाने की आदत थी। उसे गाड़ी चलाकर घर वापस आते हुए अपराधियों ने दो गोलियां मारी, जिसमें से एक उसके सीने में लगी और उसकी मौत हो गयी। इस हत्या के पीछे कोई विवाद का संकेत नहीं है। अब पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही है।
