Former Minister Accuses BJP Workers of Firing
After a dispute erupted following Rohini Acharya’s visit to the booth near the beggar’s square in Saran, a shooting incident took place on Tuesday morning. One youth died, and two others were seriously injured. People were outraged after the incident and demanded the arrest of the shooters, leading to protests. They claim that BJP workers were responsible for the firing. On Monday after voting, these individuals had behaved rudely in front of Saran Lok Sabha candidate Rohini Acharya. Three people were shot this morning. Police arrived at the scene and calmed the situation down after understanding the situation. Sufficient police personnel have been deployed at Bikhari Thakur Chowk.
Bikhari Thakur Chowk Converted into a Police Camp
The deceased, identified as Chandan Kumar, a resident of Telpa in the Nagar Thana area, was 26 years old. The injured include Shambhu Ray’s 30-year-old son Gudu Ray and 40-year-old son Manoj Ray. After receiving initial treatment at the Sadar Hospital, both were referred to PMCH Patna. Manoj sustained a gunshot wound to his back, while Gudu was shot in the head. Former Minister and RJD MLA Jitendra Ray arrived at the hospital upon hearing the news and demanded the arrest of the culprits. Saran’s District Magistrate, SP Vikas Vaibhav, DM Aman Samir, and SP Dr. Gaurav Mangla also visited the scene to assure people of the culprits’ arrest. Subsequently, a large number of police forces were deployed, and the police are conducting raids to find the shooters.

Former Minister and RJD MLA Jitendra Ray stated that late on Monday night, a video of BJP workers using abusive language and vulgar language in front of RJD candidate Dr. Rohini Acharya went viral. Despite this, BJP leaders and workers fired shots at young men drinking tea at Bikhari Thakur Chowk in the morning. During the firing, one youth died, and two others were seriously injured.
पूर्व मंत्री सह राजद विधायक जितेंद्र राय ने गंभीर आरोप लगाए हैं। उनका कहना है कि सोमवार देर रात भाजपा कार्यकर्ताओं ने राजद प्रत्याशी डॉ रोहिणी आचार्य के सामने गाली गलौज और अभद्र भाषा का प्रयोग किया गया और उसके बाद उन्होंने सुबह में भिखारी ठाकुर चौक पर चाय पीने आए युवकों के साथ हवाई फायरिंग करते हुए गोलीबारी की। इस हमले में एक युवक की मौत हो गई और दो युवक घायल हो गए। इसके बाद लोगों ने हत्यारे की गिरफ्तारी की मांग की और पुलिस ने छापेमारी करके गिरफ्तारी की कोशिश की।
