Police Arrest Accused in Shooting Case
The police of Malaypur Thana in Jamui arrested a fugitive accused in a shooting incident that took place in Sirsi village in Bakhtiarpur Thana area of Patna district. The accused, identified as Aditya Kumar, son of Arun Singh, is a resident of Sirsi village in Bakhtiarpur Thana area. Acting on a tip-off, the police team led by SP Shorya Suman apprehended the accused at his residence.
Swift Action by Police Team
Upon receiving information about the whereabouts of the accused, a team led by SDPO Satish Suman was formed, which included the Thana in-charge Vikas Kumar, SI Mahesh Singh, and other police personnel from Malaypur Thana. The team swiftly moved in and successfully arrested the accused in connection with the shooting incident that took place a year ago.
Details of the Shooting Incident
Aditya, along with his accomplices, had entered the house of Manish Kumar in the evening of March 14, 2023, in the Kaival area of Malaypur and shot him, causing serious injuries. Fortunately, Manish survived the attack. The motive behind the incident was reported to be a one-sided love affair of a deranged lover.
