**Accident in Sitamarhi, Bihar:**
In Sitamarhi district, a tragic accident occurred late at night, resulting in the death of three people, including a child. Six people were severely injured in the accident. The incident took place near Mohanpur, located about three kilometers away from Sitamarhi-Bariyarpur road. An uncontrolled truck collided with a tempo late on Tuesday night, resulting in the death of three people on the spot. The condition of all six injured individuals is critical, with four confirmed deaths so far.
**Victims Were Travelling from Train to Tempo:**
It is reported that the tempo, carrying 11 passengers, was heading from Sitamarhi railway station to Ramanagara village under Bathnaha Thana. All passengers had disembarked from a train in Sitamarhi. Local residents assisted the police in transporting all injured individuals to Sadar Hospital for treatment. The severity of the situation raises concerns about a possible increase in the death toll. The driver of the truck successfully fled the scene after the incident.
**Identification of Deceased:**
Through dialing 112 and assistance from local police, the injured were promptly taken to Sadar Hospital in their vehicles. The deceased have been identified as Moh. Samsool from Nepal, Nasho Khan from Fatehpur, and Roja Ansari’s daughter Khajida Khatun from Ramanagara. Due to the critical condition of the other injured individuals, they have been referred to a higher center for treatment. Officials from Sadar Hospital, including SDPO Ram Krishna and SDM Sanjeev Kumar, arrived at the hospital late at night to oversee the situation.
**Police Investigation and Treatment:**
Upon receiving information about the incident, the police immediately arrived at the scene to provide relief and rescue operations. Three people have lost their lives, while six others have sustained injuries. All injured individuals are receiving medical treatment, and efforts are underway to locate the truck involved in the accident. The police are actively investigating the case to determine the cause of the tragic accident.
