**Accident in Bhagalpur**

In a severe road accident in Bhagalpur, five people were injured, with two of them in serious condition. The incident occurred in the Bhawanipur police station area of Navgachhia on Wednesday morning when a high-speed vehicle collided with a bus on NH 31. Half a dozen people were seriously injured in this road accident, with the driver and conductor in critical condition. The incident caused panic in the area, with a crowd gathering around. Police arrived at the scene immediately after receiving information and began investigating.

**Driver lost control at the bend**

The police admitted the injured to Narayanpur Referral Hospital with the help of local residents. Due to the severity of the injuries, all five injured individuals have been referred to Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Hospital for better treatment. According to local residents, the bus was carrying passengers from Khagaria to Navgachhia. The balance of the truck driver was disrupted at the bend near the petrol pump. The collision occurred when the bus driver regained control. After the accident, the bus went into the fields on the side of NH.

**Driver and Conductor in Critical Condition**

Following the accident, bus driver Manoj Kumar from Lakhisarai and the conductor are in serious condition. As soon as news of the incident spread, a large number of villagers gathered around. The police from the Bhawanipur station also arrived at the scene promptly. Station in-charge Mahesh Kumar stated that five passengers on the bus were injured. Currently, medical treatment for the injured individuals is ongoing.
