Bharatiya Janata Party Expels Bhojpuri Actor Pawan Singh
Bhojpuri actor and independent candidate Pawan Singh has been expelled from the BJP. Although Pawan Singh had filed his nomination from the Karaikal Lok Sabha seat as an independent candidate, he had not yet resigned from the primary membership of the BJP. The NDA candidate from Karaikal is Upendra Kushwaha, which had created doubts among the voters. There was a continuous message going among the people that despite staying in the party, he had filed his nomination as an independent candidate. This also reflects poorly on the party.
Obstacle in Upendra Kushwaha’s Victory
Pawan Singh’s expulsion will not create hurdles in Upendra Kushwaha’s victory. In response to this, the BJP has taken action. While expelling him, the BJP has written that the way independent nominations were filed in Karaikal, it is an anti-party activity. It tarnishes the image of the party. Therefore, Pawan Singh is being expelled from the party.
भोजपुरी एक्टर और काराकाट से निर्दलीय उम्मीदवार पवन सिंह को बीजेपी ने पार्टी से निष्कासित कर दिया है। पवन सिंह ने काराकाट लोकसभा से नामांकन किया था, लेकिन उन्होंने बीजेपी की प्राथमिक सदस्यता नहीं छोड़ी थी। इसके बाद एनडीए के उम्मीदवार उपेंद्र कुशवाहा की जीत में बाधा बन रहे थे, जिसके कारण भाजपा ने पवन सिंह को निष्कासित कर दिया। भाजपा ने इसको पार्टी विरोधी गतिविधि बताया और पवन सिंह को निकालने का निर्णय लिया।
