The family of a young man from Bhojpur, who is currently held captive in Iran, is demanding a ransom of two crore rupees through WhatsApp. The young man, Gaurav Gupta, a resident of Sukharauli village in Pirro, was taken from Jhansi to Mumbai, then to Dubai, Pakistan, and finally to Iran. His family members are continuously being asked for money through voice recordings on WhatsApp. Helpless, the family has filed a complaint against an unknown person at the Hasanbazaar police station in Pirro. They have also requested Ara MP and Union Minister RK Singh to bring back their son, who has been out of contact since being taken to Iran for a job opportunity.
Gaurav was taken to Iran under the pretense of getting a job, but now he cannot be contacted. The family is receiving calls from two different foreign numbers, which have been reported to the police. Pirro DSP Rahul Singh has stated that the police are taking action based on the filed complaint. The family is worried about the safety and well-being of Gaurav, who is currently in Iran under suspicious circumstances.
Gaurav’s brother Rajan revealed that Gaurav was taken to Iran to work in an oil factory but was left stranded there. Since May 8, there has been no contact with Gaurav, and the family has been receiving voice messages demanding ransom. The family suspects that Gaurav was taken as a hostage in exchange for drugs. The information about Gaurav’s abduction has been shared with the Ahmedabad police.
Rajan explained that on April 29, a group of drug traffickers was intercepted by security forces near Porbandar port while trying to smuggle drugs into India. During the operation, five smugglers were arrested, leading to the seizure of millions worth of drugs. One of the international traffickers had Gaurav’s number in his mobile phone, leading the police to uncover the connection between Gaurav and the drug trafficking ring. It is suspected that Gaurav was held captive in exchange for drugs.
भोजपुर के युवक गौरव गुप्ता को ईरान में बंधक बनाकर उसके परिजनों से दो करोड़ रुपए की फिरौती की मांग की जा रही है। उसे यात्रा के दौरान पटना से मुंबई, फिर दुबई, पाकिस्तान और उसके बाद ईरान ले जाया गया है। उसके परिजनों ने पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज कराई है और गौरव को वापस लाने की मांग की है। उसके भाई राजन ने बताया कि गौरव को ड्रग्स के बदले गिरवी रखा गया है और उसे ईरान ले जाकर छोड़ दिया गया है। भारतीय तट रक्षकों ने एक तस्कर समूह को गिरफ्तार किया था, जिसमें गौरव का नंबर मिला और उसके बारे में पता चला। अब पुलिस गौरव को बचाने के लिए कार्रवाई कर रही है।
