In the battleground of Karakat, Upendra Kushwaha, the NDA candidate, is facing tough competition from CPI(ML) candidate Raja Ram Singh and Independent candidate Pawan Singh. Pawan Singh, a popular Bhojpuri actor, has gathered support from various communities and is giving a tough fight in this triangular contest.

Raja Ram Singh belongs to the Kushwaha community and is banking on the votes from the Male cadre, ARJD’s MY equation, and the Kushwaha community. On the other hand, Pawan Singh, hailing from the Rajput community, is trying to consolidate the NDA’s voter bank. Upendra Kushwaha is also from the Kushwaha community and is trying to secure both the community’s votes and the NDA’s support.

Various prominent leaders from the NDA are actively campaigning for Upendra Kushwaha in Karakat. Nitish Kumar held a rally on Friday, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address a massive gathering on May 25. BJP’s National President JP Nadda and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh are also holding election rallies in support of Upendra Kushwaha.
