Shivhar Lok Sabha Election Update
The voting for the sixth phase of Lok Sabha elections has begun in Shivhar this morning at 7 am. Strict vigilance is being maintained at the polling booths as voters wait in line for their turn. Shivhar constituency includes two Vidhan Sabha seats from Sitamarhi ★Belsand and Riga.
Statistics on Voter Turnout
A total of 314596 voters will exercise their franchise at 317 polling centers in Shivhar Vidhan Sabha. From Riga Vidhan Sabha, 32583 voters will cast their votes at 331 booths, while 282746 voters from Belsand Vidhan Sabha will vote at 282 booths.
Important Instructions for Election Day
Polling will take place from 7 am to 6 pm, with mock polls conducted before 5:30 am. District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police have issued crucial directives regarding the voting process. Appointments of duty officers and police forces have been made in various locations.
Direct Contest in Shivhar
Shivhar Lok Sabha seat witnesses a direct contest between Ritl Jayaswal from RJD and Lovely Anand from JDU. The battle is between 12 candidates, with a significant face-off between the two prominent contenders. The fate of all candidates will be sealed in the EVMs by 6 pm today.
