Preparation to Run Vande Bharat Express Train between Patna and Delhi

The Railway Board is considering running the Vande Bharat Express between Patna and Delhi, which will significantly reduce the travel time between the two cities to just 9 hours. Currently, high-speed trains like the Patna-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, Sampoorna Kranti Express, and Tejas Express take around 13 hours to travel between Delhi and Patna, but the Vande Bharat Express will cover the distance in just 9 hours.

Decision Pending on Running Vande Bharat Express between Patna and Delhi

According to media reports, the Railway Board will soon announce its decision on running the Vande Bharat Express between Patna and Delhi. The schedule and timings for the Patna-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express are expected to be released soon. While the first Vande Bharat Express train ran on the Delhi-Habibganj route, now there are plans to run a Vande Bharat Express between the capitals of Delhi and Bihar.

Route through UP for Patna-Delhi Vande Bharat Express

The Patna-Delhi Vande Bharat Express is expected to run at a speed of 130 km per hour, covering the distance in 9 hours with stops at Ara, Buxar, and Deen Dayal Upadhyay stations. The train may run through Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh. The train is expected to have 1 Executive Chair Car coach and 7 Air-Conditioned Chair Car coaches, with a total of 52 seats in the Executive Chair Car and 478 seats in the Air-Conditioned Chair Car.
