Violent Clash in Purnia

A violent clash took place in Purnia between two groups over a dispute regarding a 4-acre piece of land. The clash resulted in 6 people getting injured, with 4 individuals from one group sustaining serious injuries. The violence was eventually stopped with the help of villagers, and the injured were taken to the GMCH for treatment.

Identification of the Injured

The injured individuals in the clash hail from Ward 2 of Raghunathpur village in Bhawanipur Thana. They include two younger brothers, Dublu Yadav and Manjhle Yadav, along with their wives and daughter. On the other side, the elder brother, Ravi Yadav alias Bauni Yadav, and others sustained minor injuries.

Intense Situation

The condition of the younger brother who was seriously injured in the clash is critical. The villagers managed to calm the situation down before it escalated further. The dispute over the land had been ongoing for the past 6 months, leading to the violent confrontation.

Treatment and Legal Action

All the injured individuals have been admitted to GMCH for treatment with the support of the villagers. Both groups have filed complaints against each other at the Bhawanipur Thana. The police are investigating the matter to determine the cause of the clash and take necessary legal action.
