Police Speeds up Investigation

Patna University student Harsh Raj’s murder case has seen a rapid investigation by the police. On Wednesday, a search operation was conducted in several hostels, including Jackson and Patel, to arrest the suspects. Every room was checked by blocking the main gate. It was reported that raids were conducted in 5 hostels of Patna University in connection with the conspiracy to murder Harsh. Some students involved in the incident are still present on the university premises.

Raj Bhavan Takes Note

Before this, Raj Bhavan had taken note of Harsh Raj’s murder case on Tuesday. The Vice-Chancellor of the university and the SSP of Patna were summoned in this case. Governor and Chancellor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar has taken detailed information from officials about the entire case. Strict action against the culprits has been directed.

Mastermind Arrested

After questioning CCTV footage and people in the vicinity, the mastermind Chandan Yadav was arrested by the police. Chandan has confessed to his crime. During interrogation, the names of 8 other boys involved in the incident have also been revealed. All these boys are students of Patna University and reside in the hostels.

Details of the Incident

Harsh, a student of BN College in Patna University, was beaten to death by about 15 unknown boys on Monday. Harsh was appearing for his BA third-year exam. The unknown boys attacked him with bricks as soon as he got on his bike. The incident took a violent turn when the boys started beating Harsh with sticks. After the brutal assault, Harsh succumbed to his injuries.
