BPSC Teacher Recruitment Exam Controversy
Recently, the Patna High Court has put a stay on the BPSC Bihar Teacher Recruitment Exam TRE 3. Earlier, BPSC had announced recruitment for 87722 positions in TRE 3. The exam was cancelled in March due to leaked question papers, and now the High Court has imposed a stay before the re-exam.
Weightage for Guest Teachers in Plus 2 Schools
The Patna High Court has also imposed a stay on giving weightage to guest teachers in Plus 2 schools. The court has ordered that guest teachers should receive 5 marks per year of service and a maximum of 25 marks based on 5 years of service. This decision aims to provide fair opportunities to teachers from backward and extremely backward sections.
BPSC Paper Leak Scandal
The BPSC TRE 3 teacher recruitment paper was leaked, leading to a major scandal. The exam for the third phase of teacher appointments was conducted on March 15, and it was later discovered that question papers were being leaked in Hazaribagh. The Examination Observation Unit revealed that over 270 candidates were being given answers in a marriage hall, prompting an investigation into the paper leak.
