Training Session for Lagori Game in Navgachhia

Five students taking training for the Lagori game in Ramdhari Singh Uvi, Pakra, Navgachhia, fainted in the intense heat. These students, including Shreya Bharti, Shruti Singh, Jyoti Kumari, Neha Kumari, and Madhurani, were taken to the sub-divisional hospital in Navgachhia for treatment. They are all said to be out of danger and preparing for the Junior Championship in Ratnagiri district, Maharashtra.

Students Fainting in Kahalgaon and Sanhoula

In Kahalgaon, three students fainted due to the changing weather while in Sanhoula, two girls fainted due to the intense heat. They were given primary treatment and sent home. Similar incidents were reported in Narayanpur and Khariak as well, where students and teachers fainted due to the heat.

ASI’s Sudden Death in Khariak and Gogha Youth’s Death in Jamalpur

In Khariak, an ASI deployed for Lok Sabha election duty suddenly collapsed and died, while a youth from Gogha died due to the intense heat at the Jamalpur station. The youth’s identity was confirmed as Babloo Kumar, and efforts are being made to contact his family.

Students Fainting in Shahkund, Sultanaganj, and Peerpainti

Several incidents of students fainting due to the heat were reported in Shahkund, Sultanaganj, and Peerpainti. The students were given primary treatment and sent home under the supervision of school authorities. The schools were subsequently closed in Peerpainti as a precautionary measure.
