Violent Clash Over Rice Eating Dispute

In the Keval Fariyata area of Khaira police station in Jamui, a violent clash broke out between two groups over a dispute involving a goat eating rice. In this incident, four people from one side were injured, two of them seriously. All injured from one side have been referred to Jamui Sadar Hospital for better treatment after initial treatment by doctors.

Details of the Incident

The injured from one side identified as Bhuneshwar Yadav, Double Kumar, Rita Devi, Ashok Yadav, and Seema Kumari were attacked with sticks and rods. Ashok Yadav revealed that a group led by Neetish Yadav and Indradev Yadav had planned the attack on his family members. The attackers barged into their house and assaulted them with sticks and rods, leaving five of their family members injured.

Previous Disputes and Police Action

Ashok Yadav also mentioned that the other group involved in the clash had been part of a previous land dispute. The police have not been informed about the incident yet, but a complaint will be lodged after the treatment, and necessary action will be taken upon receiving the application. The Khaira police station in-charge Shashibhushan Kumar stated that no application has been received from the victims regarding the matter, but action will be taken once the complaint is filed.
