The eldest son in Gaya allegedly poisoned his parents and younger brother for property, leading to their deteriorating health. After the incident, the police arrested the accused son and are taking further action. The entire incident took place in the Gandhi Nagar locality of the Gaya city.
The distressed couple had three sons, among whom the eldest son, Jitendra Das, had been arguing over property distribution for a long time. On Monday evening, he secretly mixed poison in the fish and rice that was cooked at home. Later that night, after consuming the meal, the family members fell asleep. Soon after, the mother, father, and brothers started feeling unwell.
Upon receiving information about their deteriorating health, the family members were taken to the Manpur Community Health Center for treatment. They were later referred to Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical Hospital for better treatment. The local police chief confirmed that five members of the same family fell seriously ill after consuming the poisoned meal. The culprit is in custody and further investigation is ongoing.
