Tragic Accident near Katihar Airport Bridge
An incident occurred near the Katihar Assistant Thana area where a speeding bike collided with two young men standing by the road. One of them, Mohammad Ful Alam, lost his life on the spot, while the other youth is currently undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital.
Details of the Incident
According to reports, a youth riding a fast-paced bike from Semapur road hit Mohammad Ful Alam with great force and then fled the scene. Shortly after, the same biker hit Sanjay Singh, a resident of the Hawaai Adda Mohalla, who was walking along the roadside. Both victims sustained severe injuries and were rushed to the hospital with the help of locals.
Current Situation and Demands
Sanjay Singh was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital, while Mohammad Ful Alam is currently undergoing treatment. The relatives of the deceased are demanding compensation from the district administration to support Singh’s family, as he was the sole breadwinner for his family of six members.
Appeal for Justice
Local representatives, including Ward Councilor Saurabh Malakar, are condemning the incident and urging the authorities to provide appropriate compensation to the family of Sanjay Singh. They are seeking justice so that the family can cope with the loss of their loved one and move forward in life.
