Brutal Murder of an Elderly Man in Jehanabad
An elderly man was brutally murdered in the Puranka Beegha village in the Ghosi police station area of Jehanabad. The victim has been identified as 68-year-old Ramji Yadav. He had gone to graze his cattle by the river in the evening but did not return home by late evening, causing his family to worry. When some villagers went to the riverbank on Friday morning, they found his body there.
Police Investigation and Allegations
The family members allege that some farmers from Hardaspur village had their cattle stray into a bean field, leading to a confrontation and ultimately the murder of Ramji Yadav. SDPO-2 Sanjeev Kumar has stated that they received information about the murder and the family members are accusing others of the crime. The police are investigating the case to determine the cause and method of the murder.
Call for Fair Investigation
Local MLA Ram Bali Singh Yadav expressed shock over the brutal murder and has demanded an impartial investigation by the police administration. He emphasized the need for strict action against those involved in the crime and ensuring that the innocent are not falsely implicated.
