Tragedy in Mathura
Three girls, Gauri (14), Maya (13), and Mahi (10) from different cities went missing on May 13th. Their bodies were found near the railway tracks in Mathura a few days ago. Mahi’s diary was recovered by the police from her home, where she had written about meeting her deceased mother’s soul and playing games with her after the world ends in May.
Significance of TriPindi Shraddh
TriPindi Shraddh involves performing Pind Daan for the ancestors of the past three generations. It is believed that performing this ritual helps in calming the souls of the ancestors and prevents them from causing trouble to future generations. Mahi used to perform puja at her grandfather’s house temple, where the Pind Daan ceremony is now being conducted.
Mahi’s Positive Influence
Mahi’s father and grandfather mentioned that Mahi used to engage in prayers and rituals at home without displaying any negative behavior. Her positive attitude towards worship and her mother’s influence after her death in 2015 kept the family members attentive to her well-being to ensure she did not feel sad.
TriPindi Shraddh Ceremony
Pandit Manoj Lal Bhaiya shared that people from Muzaffarpur have come to perform Pind Daan for their daughter. He mentioned that due to the recent untimely death of Manoj Sahni’s daughter, the TriPindi Shraddh ceremony is being conducted to bring peace to her soul and prevent it from wandering in the afterlife.
मथुरा में ट्रेन से कटकर जान देने वाली तीन लड़कियों में से एक माही के परिजनों ने उनके लिए त्रिपिंडी श्राद्ध करवाया। माही की कॉपी में लिखा था कि दुनिया मई में खत्म हो जाएगी और उसकी मृत मां की आत्मा से मिलेगी। त्रिपिंडी श्राद्ध का मतलब है पूर्वजों का पिंडदान करना और आत्मा को शांति देना। माही के पिता ने बताया कि उनकी बेटी नाना के घर में पूजा पाठ करती थी और उसकी हरकत में कभी निगेटिविटी नहीं आई। त्रिपिंडी श्राद्ध की तैयारी करते हुए माही के पिता और नाना ने समझाया कि उसकी आत्मा को शांति मिले।
