Registration process for District Bar Association elections in progress
The process of nomination for the 28 positions of the District Bar Association elections is ongoing. Candidates submitted their nomination papers for various positions on Friday. After the nominations, candidates presented their claims of victory to the lawyers starting Wednesday.
Progress of Nomination Process
Only two lawyers submitted their nomination papers on the first day. However, on the second day, a total of 15 nomination papers were filed on Thursday. On the third day, Ranjay Kumar Dubey, Chandrabhushan Tiwari, and several other lawyers submitted their nomination papers for various positions, including the Joint Secretary position.
Positions up for Election
The elections are being held for various positions such as President, General Secretary, Treasurer, Joint Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Library Member, five Senior Executive Members, and seven Executive Members. The deadline for nominations is June 3rd. The verification of nomination papers will take place on June 4th, and candidates can withdraw their nominations by 12 noon on June 5th. The voting will take place from 8 am to 4 pm on June 13th.
जिला बार एसोसिएशन के 28 पदों के लिए होने वाले चुनाव की नामांकन प्रक्रिया जारी है। शुक्रवार को अभ्यर्थियों ने नामांकन पत्र दाखिल किया और अधिवक्ताओं से अपनी जीत के दावे पेश किए। नामांकन की अंतिम तिथि 3 जून है और मतदान 13 जून को होगा। विभिन्न पदों के लिए नामांकन प्रक्रिया जारी है और अध्यक्ष, महासचिव, कोषाध्यक्ष, उपाध्यक्ष, संयुक्त सचिव, सदस्य और कार्यकारिणी सदस्य के लिए चुनाव हो रहा है।
