Tragic Incident in Banka

A senior citizen named Pramila Devi lost her life due to a venomous snake bite in the Navada police station area of Banka. The incident occurred when the woman was asleep at home and was bitten by the snake. Unfortunately, due to being asleep, she did not realize she had been bitten. Her condition deteriorated rapidly, and she was being taken to the Mayaganj Hospital when she passed away.

Local Police Investigation

Upon receiving information about the incident, the local police reached the scene. The incident took place late on Friday night in the Alipur village under the jurisdiction of the Navada police station in Rajoun block. The sudden death of Pramila Devi due to the snake bite caused chaos in the household, as she was bitten while asleep, and her family was unaware of the situation until it was too late.

Medical Emergency

After waking up and realizing what had happened, Pramila Devi’s health started deteriorating rapidly. Her family sought medical help from a local practitioner, but her condition continued to worsen. In a rush to get her to the Mayaganj Hospital in Bhagalpur for treatment, she tragically passed away on the way. The news of the incident caused shock and grief in the community.

Official Statement

Pankaj Kishore, the Thana Adhyaksh of the area, confirmed that Pramila Devi had succumbed to the snake bite. The tragic incident serves as a reminder of the dangers posed by venomous snakes and the importance of being vigilant, especially in rural areas where such incidents can occur unexpectedly.

बिहार के बांका जिले के नवादा थाना क्षेत्र में एक वृद्ध महिला प्रमिला देवी की जहरीले सांप के काटने से मौत हो गई। महिला घर में सोई हुई थी और नींद में ही सांप ने उसे काट लिया। नींद में रहने के कारण महिला को पता नहीं चल पाया और उसकी हालत बिगड़ने पर मायागंज अस्पताल ले जाने के क्रम में रास्ते में ही उसकी मौत हो गई। घटना के बाद घर में कोहराम मच गया और स्थानीय पुलिस ने जांच शुरू की।
