Tragic Road Accident in Kishanganj
In a horrific road accident in Kishanganj, two trucks collided head-on near Titia Chowk in the Kochadhaman police station area. The impact caused both vehicles to overturn, leading to the death of one of the drivers.
Fire Breaks Out After Collision
Following the collision, a fire broke out in both vehicles. Local residents rushed to the scene to help the injured individuals and they were taken to Sadar Hospital in Kishanganj for treatment. The identities of the deceased and injured have not been confirmed yet.
Authorities Investigating the Incident
The Chairman of the Thana, Raja Kumar, stated that upon receiving the late-night information about the accident, the authorities reached the spot and extinguished the fire in both vehicles. The trucks have been seized for further investigation into the cause of the fire.
Death of One Driver and Injuries to Others
One of the truck drivers lost his life in the accident, while the driver and helper of the other truck sustained injuries. The injured individuals are currently undergoing treatment at Sadar Hospital, and the body of the deceased driver has been sent for postmortem examination at the same hospital in Kishanganj.
