Violent Land Dispute in Pipra Tola Mahaddichak Village
In Gaya’s Paraiya Thana area, a violent incident occurred in Pipra Tola Mahaddichak village over a land dispute. The incident took place on Saturday evening, where the affected party alleged that when they demanded a share in their ancestors’ land, they were attacked and beaten up in their own home. Several family members were injured, with injuries ranging from head injuries to other physical harm. The injured individuals, including Suresh Yadav, Pramila Devi, Lurki Devi, Mohan Yadav, are being treated at Magadh Medical College and Hospital, with Satyendra Yadav being in critical condition.
Details of the Incident and Police Response
Satyendra Yadav, one of the critically injured individuals, revealed that the disputed land was 2 acres and 72 decimal land used for agriculture. The accused party, including Mithilesh Yadav, Upendra Yadav, Kamlesh Kumar, Manish Kumar, and others, were involved in the violent attack. Additionally, relatives and acquaintances from Kurman village in Paraiya were also targeted by the accused group, resulting in multiple injuries and hospitalizations. The police, led by Thana in-charge Mukesh Kumar, are investigating the matter, and arrests will be made after the inquiry.
Appeal for Justice and Ongoing Medical Treatment
The affected families have appealed to the police, including Gaya’s Police Captain Ashish Bharti, for justice in the matter. As half a dozen individuals are currently receiving medical treatment at Magadh Medical College Hospital, the severity of the injuries and the trauma caused by the violent attack have raised concerns among the local community. The police are working diligently to bring the perpetrators to justice and ensure the safety of the victims and their families in the region.
