Incident in Betiah: Husband Kills Wife

In Betiah, a husband has killed his wife. The incident took place in the Pipra Ward number 6 of Chanpatiya police station area. The police have arrested the husband and are conducting an investigation. The woman was beaten to death with a bat in front of their five-year-old son.

Postmortem and Identification

The body has been sent to the government medical college hospital for postmortem. The deceased has been identified as Gudiya Devi, the 40-year-old wife of Raju Thakur from Pipra village. The incident occurred at 2:30 AM when the husband was sleeping in a room with his wife and their son.

Discovery of the Crime

Suddenly, a loud noise was heard from the room and the child started crying. The police took the husband into custody after the incident. The sound of the child crying gathered people around, urging them to break open the door. When they entered, they found Gudiya lying on the ground with blood coming out of her head.

Arrest and Investigation

The husband had locked himself inside the house after the incident. The locals informed the police, who then arrested the husband. The accused husband has been charged with killing his wife with a bat. The investigation is ongoing to determine the motive behind the murder.
