Attack on Ward Councilor’s Husband in Navada
In a shocking incident, the husband of a ward councilor in the Bhatt Mohalla area of Navada has been attacked, resulting in serious injuries. The entire incident took place late on Monday night in the Bhatt Mohalla area near the big dargah of the city. Four people were injured in the attack and all of them have been admitted to the government hospital for treatment.
Identification of the Injured and Accusations
The injured have been identified as the husband of ward councilor Shabana Parveen, Mohammad Ehtesham Alam. Three other people who came to his rescue were also severely beaten up. The police have identified the attackers as Dilawar, Numan, and Tabish Raja. Ehtesham has accused a group of 10-12 people of carrying out the brutal attack with swords and sticks in the Bhatt Mohalla area.
Allegations and Police Investigation
Ehtesham has stated that if timely intervention had not been made, the situation could have turned fatal. He mentioned that the area is known for criminal activities and incidents like these are not uncommon. The police have taken statements from the injured at the hospital and have assured that a thorough investigation will be conducted based on the complaint filed.
Police Response and Further Actions
Upon receiving information about the incident, SI Niranjan Singh visited the hospital to record the statements of the injured. He assured that necessary actions will be taken after investigating the matter thoroughly. The situation in Navada remains tense as the police continue to probe the attack on the ward councilor’s husband and the three individuals who came to his aid.
