According to Ajay Kumar, Vice President of the Patliputra Sarafa Association, the prices of gold and silver had been steadily increasing. However, today saw a record decrease in the prices of these precious metals, making it a beneficial time for buyers.
Current Rates in the Sarafa Market
On Sunday, June 9, the price of 22-carat gold in Patna was ₹66,200 per 10 grams, while 24-carat gold was priced at ₹73,750 per 10 grams. The price of 24-carat gold was ₹75,600 per 10 grams until yesterday. Additionally, the price of 22-carat gold was ₹67,950 per 10 grams yesterday. Today, the price of 18-carat gold is ₹55,850 per 10 grams.
Exchange Rates for Gold and Silver
For those looking to sell or exchange gold today in Patna, the exchange rate for 10 grams of 22-carat gold is ₹64,700, while 18-carat gold is at ₹54,350 per 10 grams. The selling rate for silver remains at ₹85,000 per kilogram.
