Crime in Darbhanga: Husband murders wife near Hanuman temple
In the Sakatpur police station area of Darbhanga, a husband murdered his wife near the Hariharpur Hanuman temple. The couple had a love marriage two years ago, but disputes had arisen between them since their wedding. On Saturday evening, the accused suddenly attacked his wife with a sharp weapon, resulting in her death. The deceased has been identified as Pinky Kumari (22), a resident of Alinagar police station area. Upon receiving information from local residents, the police have arrested the husband, Ram Kumar.
Dispute escalates after husband arrives from Delhi
According to reports, Ram Kumar is a resident of Delhi, while the deceased Pinky Kumari hailed from Leelpur village in the Alinagar police station area of Darbhanga district. The couple had a love marriage in Delhi two years ago, but conflicts started soon after their wedding. Due to this, Pinky Kumari had left her husband’s house in Delhi and returned to her parental home four to five months ago. Ram Kumar arrived in Darbhanga from Delhi on the 7th of June, and arguments between the couple resumed. On Saturday evening, while she was out to buy vegetables, Ram Kumar attacked her with a sharp weapon, leading to her death.
Fatal attack with a sharp weapon
The Station House Officer of Alinagar, Manish Kumar, revealed that a woman was murdered by her husband using a sharp weapon. The couple had a love marriage two years ago. The accused has been arrested, and an investigation is underway. Further action will be taken after questioning the suspect.
