Nalanda Hospital Faces Issues Due to Locked Ultrasound Room

Every day, Nalanda’s main hospital makes headlines for various reasons. A similar case came to light on Monday when patients faced a lot of difficulties due to a locked ultrasound room in the hospital. Patients and their relatives who had arrived to get an ultrasound done had been waiting since 8:00 AM, but even by 10:00 AM, the room remained locked.

Intervention by Civil Surgeon and Deputy Superintendent

Upon receiving information, Civil Surgeon Dr. Shyama Rai and Deputy Superintendent of the hospital immediately reprimanded the doctor and technician on duty for the delay. Following this, the investigation finally began, revealing a locked door in the ultrasound room. Dr. Shyama Rai demanded clarification from the doctors and staff on duty and warned of departmental action if satisfactory answers were not provided.

Strict Actions and Timely Instructions Issued

Dr. Shyama Rai also instructed all staff to start operations in all departments on time and warned of disciplinary action against those who fail to adhere to the schedule. Failure to provide satisfactory explanations may result in further disciplinary action against the individuals involved. All staff members have been directed to strictly follow the schedule to avoid such incidents in the future.
